I take a glance at my task manager from time to time with NV open and the RAM usage doesn't seem to go past 1. You MUST give both LuthienAnarion and myself credit. Is there any way to run FNV with 4GB without using steam? This may or may not make any difference.

The only problem was that with this method Steam didn't recognize that I played New Vegas. Mostly I got used to it and didn't care about achievements. But yesterday I got an idea. Still I can't get any of the achievments - made a test, one achievement you can get after finishing Ain't That a Kick in the Head quest. So I made new game and nothing happend. Any ideas how to play with mods and still be available to get steam achievements? How do you play? Are you sure you're not using the console commands? Of course I am! I read somewhere that commands can break this for the end of the session but I didn't use them in my last test. Can you tell how did you configure your steam launcher? So the culminating point is that fnv4gb. The default method is simply to patch the exe to a new file falloutnv. If you run it one time, you can back up your falloutnv. It might be detected by the anti-cheat thing and get you banned or something instead... No warranty from me. I put them right in the game folder where nvse, the game exe and all that is. I launch my game right from the fnv4gb which reads that you have nvse if you have 4gb enabler in the same folder as nvse which then reads the game exe. It won't launch the launcher you use but you'll be able to get achievements and steam recognizes that you're playing. Definitively gonna try out your method as soon as I'll be back on my PC. Right just try to launch it from the fnv4gb. I pinned mine to the task bar so it's easy to get to without having to go through all the folders. I'm almost positive that you'll still get achievements that way. As a result it doesn't count hours of playing and thus also achievements. Play through Wrye Flash or FOMM and you will get your hours logged and as long as you don't use the console you will get the achievements. In FOMM set the custom launch command to fnv4gb. I have played 247 hours to date.... No wonder I am tired and delusional......

I aswell, added the same ENbcontents to the main folder. This works in most cases, where the issue is originated due to a system corruption. I have a nonsteam note, want to use NVSE and ENB, and I can't really choose between the many 4GB patches out there. Yeah man, DVD or not, it will not run without Steam, which is probably the source of your problems. Try deleting it and setting up your graphics again. Do you have NVSR met. Save the file in your Downloads folder. I don't use steam cause i had some problems with them in the past and so i just don't. If you are using NMM nexus Mod Manager make sure you run FIRST the 4gbnv. You MUST give both LuthienAnarion and myself pan.
